Registration

  1. Not a Colt customer?

    • Sign up here for a guest account

  2. I’m a Colt customer without a Colt Online account.

    • Click here to sign-up
    • Complete the registration steps and click here to login

  3. I’m a Colt customer with a Colt Online account.

    • Login with your Colt Online account

  4. I’m a Colt customer with a Colt Online account without access to Developer Portal.

    • Login with your Colt Online account and go to the Add/Remove roles page in the Administration Settings to request access to the Developer Portal

How to Request an APP

    • Go to the API catalogue page

      • Search for an API
      • Click on the API card to open the API details page
      • Follow the instruction in the How to get access section

How to authenticate an API

  • After successfully request of an APP you will be granted authentication keys for the APP. You can find your key on the Apps page
  • Some APIs may require manual setup and our support team will share and guide you on how to authenticate these APIs.

The authentication mechanism can vary per API depending on the required level of authentication

 Our APIs are secured using OAuth 2.0. This means you will need to pass a JWT access token when making your request to the APIs.

  • How to get a JWT access token
    • Use the <netiq name> Add image
    • Invoke “token” API of <access management name> by mapping the <netiq Oath credentials> in the authorization header and <x-api key>

 Some APIs may use different authentication mechanisms which are specified in the API detail pages.
